SHPCHP

Well i have tried the search and hade no sucess thus far.. For fear of flames i shall post in the "n00b" corner. When i try to load the shpchp module it gives me the following error

FATAL: Error Inserting shpchp (/lib/modules/2.6.8.1/kernel/drivers/pci/hotplug/shpchp.ko) : operation not permitted

Why do you want this module loaded ?

Do you have any "Standard Hot Plug PCI Controller" in your system (check modinfo shpchp for full description) ?

If you only want to get rid of this message during coldplugging (when hotplug is in MODULES line in your /etc/rc.conf) place module name in /etc/hotplug/blacklist.
