KDE panel problems
I'm running KDE 4.2. I set it to show 4 windows with them showing in the bottom panel. I don't know what I did but now I can't see the extra windows. If I minimze a program it disappers and I can't restore it. The Amarok icon no longer shows in the panel etc. I was playing with the panels and I did some thing to cause this but I don't know what??

Sounds like you removed the task manager. To get it back, click on top-right cashew 
-> (If you've locked your widgets, unlock them) -> Click on Add Widgets -> From the dialog, drag "Task Manager" (I think it's called that) from the list to your panel.
