GNOME logs D-Bus errors

/var/log/auth.log displays

Feb  8 15:03:24 spengpc gdm-binary[6531]: gnome-keyring-daemon: couldn't lookup keyring component setting: Failed to contact configuration server; some possible causes are that you need to enable TCP/IP networking for ORBit, or you have stale NFS locks due to a system crash. This is what is displayed, I have had similar errors before from different programs with "Failed to contact configuration server".
This is displayed when I login using GDM. I have similar errors when logging in as root using the GNOME printer settings.

I'm sure these must be related, any ideas on what could be wrong? Google was of no help. sad
