Unfortunately I can't install the old libx11 to try, because of dependency issues and libxext which is not building on my machine.

Anyone some ideas, or should I just file a bug report?

Edit: fixed by libx11 update!

I'm guessing that ptlib needs to be rebuilt using the updated packages. You can try to rebuild the package through ABS. A bug report would be good if one doesn't already exist.

I rebuilt ptlib, but the problem remained. However after the first start after a reboot the output was considerably longer...

I will create a bug report as soon as I find the time.

If ptlib didn't do the trick, than maybe opal next. You could also try to build x264-git from AUR, but it's going to break everything that you have that depends on it.

This is related to http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/13199

I'll upload a fixed package later today.

Re: [Solved] Ekiga broken after upgrade (x86-64)

in arch-64 current I have this error:

The program 'ekiga' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
  (Details: serial 36 error_code 8 request_code 139 minor_code 3)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

what do you suggest to me?

thankyou

Re: [Solved] Ekiga broken after upgrade (x86-64)

This problem still persists (at least on my system). Should this be filed as a bug? Is there more information needed?
