trying to get thunar-volman to mount drives on start up

Hello there.

I have an external drive connected via firewire that is usually plugged in when I turn the laptop on.  I have thunar-volman working well but I want the drive to be loaded when I log in.  My music is on the drive and I have to open up thunar and click on the drive before Sonata will see the files.  This is obviously quite annoying.  Is there any way to get around this?

I have thunar --daemon running at start up.

Or should I just set the drive up in fstab by UID?

Cheers.

PS:  I'm really liking Arch.  It was exactly what I was after.  I was previously trying to get a gentoo setup going but it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too much effort, pointless, unecessary effort.  I imagine one would need to be OCD to enjoy using it.  I'd tried ubuntu before aswell but didn't really like it.
