[solved ]ftp install 2008.06

Hello,

I am trying to install Arch with the ftp installer (obtained from here: ftp://ftp.archlinux.org/iso/2008.06/arc … o.torrent) in VirtualBox and I keep failing.

I tried twice using different mirrors and each time once the packages are downloaded I get:

error: failed to commit transaction (corrupted package)
file autoconf-2.63-1-i686.pkg.tar.gz was corrupted (bad MD5 checksum)
file pcre [...] was corrupted (bad MD5 checksum) 
[...]
Errors occured, no packages were upgraded.

Any ideas? Also, where does the ftp installer take the md5 sums from to validate the packages?

Worked with Virtualbox 2.1.4 and ftp 2009.02
