KDE startup applications

Is there a way to specify certain applications to open when KDE is started?

Re: KDE startup applications

I think if you put symlinks to the apps you want to start in

~/Desktop/Autostart

It'll run them.

Re: KDE startup applications

It will work with Autostart but if you have multiple screens or you want some of them run minimized etc. it's better to just run the applications, apply your settings and save the session. You can setup kde sessions in global configuration menu. Change it to start only saved sessions and to not save session on exit. It works great for me with psi, kwifimanager (both minimized) and others.
