Hi
I just uploaded R (Something like Mathematica) in the AUR:
http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=20639
I am not sure, if this is correct builded, because this programm has something like a home directory under /usr/lib/R and I don't know if this is correct or if it should be configured in a different way.
Greetings

Oh, I did not see this one. Excuse me.
I will try to delete my package.

You cannot.
I will do it.

I have always thought the fact that it's just one letter made it extraordinarily difficult to find.
Add to this the policy of never capitalising package names and it's hopeless.

Ok, thank you.
Yeah, trying to find "r" in the data base is a bit difficult. ![]()

Not the easiest search, sure, but
pacman -Ss | grep -A 1 '/r 'works - pacman doesn't mind a helping hand from other cool *nix tools every now and then. ![]()

pacman supports (simple?) regular expressions.
Something like
pacman -Ss ^r$works fine.

There is still so much to learn! ![]()
But that is also the nice side of linux.
Have a good night!
