Dear All,
I posted this on aur but I just realized this might be a better place.
hasn't anyone had any problem with go-oo on 64 bit? It installs correctly for me, but when I try to open a document the open dialog doesn't come up. Also, when I exit the program the process is not killed correctly and stays in the background.
On the same machine, the regular openoffice from extra works fine.
Unfortunately this makes go-oo unusable for me. But on the web I found nothing about this problem. And on the go-oo page I found no way to report bugs.
Anyone has any insight on this please?

Hello everyone! I just realized that when I start go-oo (for example writer) from the console, I get the following errors:
(soffice:27911): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "cleartype",
(soffice:27911): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "cleartype",
Is this important? Plus, I did not know a gtk engine called cleartype existed

GTK2 themes can cause all sorts of issues. Install gtk-engines and see if that helps.

I believe you have the same problem several of us did .... go to Options -> Openoffice.org -> General -> and select 'Use OpenOffice.org dialogs'
This should fix your problem. I think you can even unselect it later after you've restarted openoffice.
Good luck!

Edit: This is vital, I think it should be in a wiki somewhere. Or is it and I could not find it? I serched the forums quite well

The official OOo pkg is patched for that

AndyRTR - is that a brand new patch? Because I first experienced this issue after the upgrade from 3.0.0-4 to 3.0.1-1 around the end of January, and there haven't been any updates since to openoffice-base (x86_64).
