The community repo and pkg dependencies.

I've just tried "clive" from community but it's missing several perl dependencies that aren't available in community. This isn't a real problem because I can create those packages with pacpan and change the dependencies in the clive PKGBUILD, but should the community repo include packages that have deps that aren't available in core/extra/community?

To be clear, clive can't run at all without them, so it's not a case of optdepends.

Should I contact the maintainer and ask him/her to add the necessary perl pkgs to community?

Re: The community repo and pkg dependencies.

You can file a bug report in the "Community Packages" section in Flyspray.

Bug report is definitely needed.

Re: The community repo and pkg dependencies.

Ok, done.
I thought it was a bug but I wanted to double-check first.
