Could I get your conky and tint2 config?
Offline
Conky : http://my-openbox.pastebin.com/m2c67d74e
Tint2: http://my-openbox.pastebin.com/m708cc602
Its conky-nvidia from AUR http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19156
Also, the spacing is not right in the conky pastebin.
Thanks

I get this error
Conky: can't open '/sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1/device/temp1_input': No such file or directory
please check your device or remove this var from Conky
What apps do I need for the cpu temps?

My openbox desktop:

That looks great, mind sharing the wallpaper?
Thank you! I really like that peptide theme.
I do, too! I find that it combines somewhat nicely with the aud-Default GTK theme, which you can see in my latest screenshots.

See if that file exists.
cd /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon1
In my system, for example, the 'device' dir doesn't exist inside hwmon1. I don't know more.

Very nice desktops. Though, why would you want icons on a Openbox WM? It's meant to be minimalistic and clean, not cluttered by icons.
I'm not sure if this comment was for me but thank you if it was. As for the icons..... well I like them in my xfce4-panel (using the cairo patch)..... I do like minimalistic desktops such as the Openbox themes you see in here (I've never tried Openbox/Fluxbox), so I see your point.... but I also like nice looking icons that are easy to click.

Thank you tj and celthias,
I'll eventually upload my murrine themes.... as well as the matching emerald theme. When I finally get around to it I'll be sure to post the links.
thanks - I'm looking forward to trying them out

Its the fvwmbuttons module, i swallowed stalonetray and conky in it and an mpd control on the left with scroll wheel volume on any of the buttons.
scratched a few itches with it.
just noticed my date says 2002 cause my bios reset today

Hrmm. Well I've always been a fan of openbox, but that really makes me wanna try fvwm. I've seen similar setups in screenshots before and it looks so nice.

Hey that's a really nice setup !
Mind sharing the configs ?
I've never gotten around to writing a fvwm config from scratch...

Sure, its not done and half old and half new config so i'm sure alot of things could be better.
if your resolution isn't 1680x1050 you will have to change the geometry of the fvwmbuttons

Fvwm if well handled is really cool and 'free'.
