Intel Sound Card makes noise

Hi,

I installed Arch on a Dell Vostro 1510 and everything works fine, but the sound not. In the notebook inside is an intel sound card, and even if i'm playing sound it makes noise.

does somebody know how i can disable the noise?

if you have an internal microphone, make sure it is muted. Use alsamixer to check and set your channels' volume.
