Well, a few months ago my webcam worked perfectly with all my programs and the driver gspca, but since I updated to 2.6.27, it doesn't work. I have searched a lot for possible solutions, but no one worked for me. I'm using arch x86_64, and this is the "dmesg | tail". As you can see, I manually started the gspca_zc3xx driver, but it still doesn't work .
gspca: main v2.3.0 registered
usbcore: registered new interface driver zc3xx
zc3xx: registered
usb 2-4: USB disconnect, address 5
usb 2-4: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 6
usb 2-4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
usb 2-4: ZC0301[P] Image Processor and Control Chip detected (vid/pid 0x0AC8:0x303B)
usb 2-4: No supported image sensor detected
And this is the modinfo for the module gspca_zc3xx:
filename: /lib/modules/2.6.28-ARCH/kernel/drivers/media/video/gspca/gspca_zc3xx.ko
license: GPL
description: GSPCA ZC03xx/VC3xx USB Camera Driver
And, finally, my "lsmod | grep gspca":
gspca_zc3xx 52736 0
gspca_main 27264 1 gspca_zc3xx
compat_ioctl32 11520 2 gspca_main,zc0301
videodev 37888 3 gspca_main,zc0301,compat_ioctl32
usbcore 160432 8 gspca_zc3xx,gspca_main,usb_storage,zc0301,usbhid,ohci_hcd,ehci_hcd
Please help me
