Hello!
At the moment I'm using the Catalyst drivers for my ATI Mobility Radeon HD3470.
When testing in glxgears I get a framerate at around 1200, witch I think seems a bit low, since my T30 with a old Radeon Mobility 7500, with 16MB video RAM, gets about the same.
If I use the open drivers, I get around 500.
So, is my score low, or is where it is suppose to be?
Another ting is that if I kill xorg with ctrl+alt+backspace, and try startx again, xorg freezes. I have to turn the machine of with the power button. Does anyone have any idea what that problem might be? It is caused by the Catalyst drivers, since I don't hvae that problem when using the open drivers.
