Need help with automounting samba share

At school each student has a folder online where he can store their files. When I go into nautilus in the location bar I type in smb://my**files.campus.**.edu/~**/ (sorry the *s are personal school ID numbers...) and up comes a box asking for my username, password, and domain name, and it then connects. I was wondering how I can get this connection to mount to a folder in my home folder. I have tried to do this through the command line but I must be doing something incorrectly.
