[solved] KDE alt-tab switch not displaying dialog
I'm using kde 4.2 (64bit) with an NVIDIA 8800 Ultra with QT 4.5 and nvidia-beta 180.29, but I've also had this issue before switching to QT 4.5 and nvidia-beta.
Switching applications using alt-tab works, somehow... Different apps are brought to the foreground with each press, but there is no dialog displayed to show which apps are next.
In System Settings -> Desktop -> All Effects, I have the Cover Switch selected. Other animations like transparency while moving windows, maximize/minimize and switching desktops work fine.
Any ideas? I'd really like to get Alt-Tab working correctly.

Bizzarro I just noticed this too, with Arch64 KDEmod, and the Nvidia 180.22 drivers.

System Settings - Window Behaviour - Policy: Focus follows Mouse
Now "Show window list while switching windows" should not be grayed out anymore.
Did that help?

Now "Show window list while switching windows" should not be grayed out anymore.
