i have problem with xfce4-mixer

OSSv4 driver, work fine with gst

but the panel plugin synchrony the volume when using any other apps to control vol.

gnome's panel plugin don;t have this problem, isn't both of them are all using gst?

fusion-icon.desktop has to be added to ~.config/autostart, not to .xinitrc
It's working fine here- I can use it to change wm within xfce 4.6 between compiz, openbox and fvwm4 without issues (just some mildly annoying quirks when compiz is loaded and some apps go fullscreen).

Hmm strange, this doesn't work for me
Is the same, only wallpaper and 1 of panel is loaded then Xfce stops loading. I can move cursor, restart X, but that's all.

Edit: When running compiz --replace or fusion-icon after Xfce is loaded works.

Edit 2: Finally got it working, with clean home folder

Does sound event option working for anyone? I've installed canberra, gnome-audio, and all needed depencies, i'm in audio group, gstreamer (base & plugins) installed, sound works in xmms, sonata, mplayer, pidgin etc. Any ideas?

4.6 has been great here... a couple minor issues, bugs filed in Xfce's bugzilla

Is there any chance we'll get Gigolo?  It's a GIO/gvfs app for Xfce and would be a nice to have when 4.6 hits the "stable" repos

Expect the packages very soon. I hope to find time this weekend.

I'll have a look at the state of the Gigolo stuff.
