Wifi download speed limited to 10Mbit/s

I'm currently using the madwifi driver with a DWA-556, which is working great except I cannot seem to download faster than 10Mbit/s when I have a 20Mbit/s connection. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could suggest any ideas why.

By the way, this is not because of my router - other computers on this network are able to download at the full 20MBit/s.
