Layout problem

I'm update my distro every day but from some time i have problem on layout.

I think the problem is on some library of X because i have this problem only for some time and on that occasion there was an updated on some library of  X.
   
When i start the system, on the first application that i open, the layout would not recognized correctly, but if I close the application and reopen, everything work perfectly.

If i open an application and open another application, the second application work fine, while the first don't work fine if i don't close it.

I can reproduce the problem but I've no idea what should I do to be more clear of the text (even considering my poor english).

Note:
I use startx for enter on X because i don't like use graphical login.
