Impress executable: solved

I  am trying to have Thunderbird .pps attachments open Impress without my having to save the file first but I can't navigate to the Impress executable file because I can't find it...doesn't seem to be in /usr/bin/.

Re: Impress executable: solved

The binaries for the individual components of OpenOffice aren't installed into /usr/bin. They're in /opt/openoffice/program/. This one is called "simpress".

Re: Impress executable: solved

I found it by doing "pacman -Ql openoffice-base | grep impress". There were lots of hits, but most were obviously not programs of any sort.
