xorg problem with XV

i have a strange behavior of some apps
i read and i found it is a bug
there is a solution for that?
any apps who uses XV has error
video players on my system show some green lines, snow and flick
when this will be solved?
there is any chance to play a video using XV?

Problems with XV output are normally an issue with the graphics chip and/or driver. Usually cards that don't do well with the XV driver do very well with the GL driver.
