help for printer canon mp520 pls

Hello, big community!!!
  I'm really interested by archlinux but i didn't manage to find a good package or a way to install my printer canon mp520, so does anyone know how to install my printer???

Hello,

For printing in *nux you should use CUPS. http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/CUPS_Setup.  For your particular printer you also need some extra drivers, which Canon only provides in deb and rpm format.  You probably want to download the rpm from http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010487.asp and extract and install its content manually using rpmextract or something.  Someone else might be able to better help you with that.
