can only run KDE as root ---SOLVED---

if I try to run as a normal user I get all kinds of errors....like services not running and file permissions for config files not writable.....Im not sure why this is.....any help would be appreciated :?:

Log in as root and do an 'ls -l' in /home/. and /home/user/. , you might see the permissions are wrong or the owner has changed.

first KDE complains about DCOPserver not finding a network connection list...then it says .kde/share/config/kwinrc, ./kde/share/config/kdeglobals, and /.kde/share/config/kpersonalize are not writable ????

just realized I had no folder in /home for my user account! lol redoing my user account iwith Kuser solved it.....thanks for the replies tho
