VLC was working just fine yesterday, i dont remember making any changes to the system, today i boot up and go to watch a video. You can see the video output, its just way more blue than it should be. Going to the command line i start vlc videoname.extention and capture its stderr which can be seen here:

but i dont see anything there that looks like it would help. I've searched and lot of people seem to say just restart X and its all good, not the case for me.
