[SOLVED] qt4.5 - Special char issue

Hi,

i noticed the following issue with qt4.5. If you try to open a file with a special char in its name (i tried äöü) with KDE-Apps like okular, the files won't open. It works with the "old" version of qt.

You might want to submit a bug report for that is it hasn't been already done.

Hm, here it only happens when I do that from a console. Clicking on that file opens it.

Well, it seems it is not a arch relating error:

Re: [SOLVED] qt4.5 - Special char issue

As mentioned in http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=186038 a patch is in KDE trunk, but it went in after kde 4.2.1. Svn revision 934640 has the fix:

svn diff -r934639:934640 svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/KDE/4.2/ > kde_qt45_cmdline.patch

I added this patch to the pkgbuild from abs and it works.
