IBM T400 xorg freezing

Hi there!

I installed arch on my t400 using the intel x4500. when using hotplugging, X seems to freeze, i cant move the mouse or use the keyboard. When I use a xorg.conf and disable xorg hotplugging, everything works. But I somehow would like to use hotplugging, as it seems the way its meant to be done. I read through the wiki, but was unsuccessfull

You have to start hal before using hotpluggin, you also should use some policies files for example for the keyboard and mouse, you should take a look at Xorg in the wiki:
