need help with quassel

what do i put down for "account name" and what for "hostname"? do i check "use secure connection"?

I'm having trouble with quassel too. I have installed the quassel package, but does it contain the core as well? If not, where can I get it?

As it is now, I tried connecting to irc.freenode.net on port 4242 but it just says
"Connecting..." indefinitely.
