Stand-alone konqueror, error.

Howdy guys,

Last night I had the wild idea that I wanted to use konqueror on this icewm-only box, so I installed kdebase and whatever else comes with it.  when I try to run konqueror, I get this:

konqueror: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libkdecore.so.5: undefined symbol: qt_locale_initialized

Anybody know whether I'm missing something, or what I can do to fix this?

thanks.

Re: Stand-alone konqueror, error.

I have no problems running konqueror in my IceWM currently, using a full kde install now.
Yet I remember it running flawlessly about two months ago having a base kde system only installed.

When you do a fresh start in your terminal, are there any hints when kbuildsycoca runs?
(See man kbuildsycoca4 for more info.)
