Hi there
I have just submited an article about arch linux. You can read it at the following address: http://polishlinux.org/linux/arch-linux … tors-pick/
The article is mainly dedicated to some unexperienced distro travellers. By writing it, I was about to encourage them to try something even more ambitious than just another "user friendly distribution" since, with a bit of effort, you can get something really, really amazing. I wanted to prove, that it really doesn't matter how "easy" a distro can be, since it may spend much more time on fixing a potential problems, when you're forced to rely on someones else choice. Well I hope you'll enjoy reading this, and find this article interesting. Who knows, maybe it could be included in furthcoming Arch Linux Newsletter issue?

Great article, found a mistake I think. "You shouldn't forget to create a new user, so that make Arch more secure"
Edit: Err, I meant there was a grammar error, not that what you said is wrong. ![]()

Thanks for your feedback. It's always nice to hear some good opinions
. Oh, by the way, I am sorry for the brazen advertisment. Well, at least some of you might thought so. Please, don't treat it as a spam since I just wanted to share my thoughts with community. I realize it might be too much as for first post though. Anyways, I am a regular Arch Linux user not a bot, I swear
. Encouraged by these good opinions, there's no other way but perform a sequel as quick as possible ![]()

Yes, that is indeed what I wanted to say. Why did you ask? There is no other version available so far, but I would gladly see it though if you think it's worth to translate. Unfortunately I don't have a time to do it on my own...

Not to nitpick, but you definitely should have mentionned the Beginner's guide. Other than that, great article. Let's give our favorite distro the spotlight, guys ![]()
