Some various problems after upgrade.

Hi, I've recently started having some problems after the recent upgrades (within the last two months).

1. pm-suspend has stopped working, pm-hibernate works fine, but after suspending I get a blank screen when I try and resume. The hard drive activity light doesnt flash either. I was hoping it would be fixed in the latest upgrades, but no luck.
2. In the latest upgrade, my xorg is no longer recognizing the dvorak format. It would work in the terminal, but as soon as I started X I would be stuck without a working keyboard. I have had to remove the layout from my xorg.conf. I am not using hotpluging, because it didn't work with my keyboard before.
3. In gnome, the panel wasn't automaticly starting so I had to add it to the sessions config section. Is there a deeper problem though?

Thanks for your help.

I cant even get it to work as my only layout however. Would this still effect it?

Re: Some various problems after upgrade.

I still cannot resume from pm-suspend. I have tried the various quirks listed for pm-utils. I only get a blank screen (no backlght) and no harddrive activity. My computer does nothing after pressing the power button to come back from suspend. Any insight?
