It would be even more ironic if the rankings of Arch in next 12 months from now were to arch lower consecutively in forming an arch pattern.
Maybe Arch linux would be the arch in popularity. Once it goes up, after a while it will eventually come down. That's usually the pattern. I could be wrong.

Even more ironic would be if it rose to #1... then it would truly be the Archlinux!

Little late with this post but I had voted the day they posted the original article calling for votes. I was really happy when Arch made the top 5. I hope it's a bit of a reward for the devs and contributors to get some mainstream recognition. Yay Arch!

I think it's a ridiculous way to vote though, manually counting comments. If you ask me it's just a sneaky way of getting people's e-mail addresses (so i used a bogus one).
