My first arch install; it's quite basic. I'm loving Vimperator in Firefox whoever mentioned that.

tMWZmdg

Dwm and Xcompmgr on OpenBSD. Makes for an interesting look, I think, although I still prefer Evilwm. Maybe I should try combining Evilwm and Dmenu.

@na12:

OK, I like this. I assume that you are running Compiz as a standalone WM, not "on top" of anything? What weather applet is that?

I just noticed that bit down at the bottom of the first screen. I'll have to look into that later, but since I don't see it, it doesn't bother me much.

Um, in no particular order: openbox, firefox, xfce panel, pidgin, terminator with irssi (unseen), quod libet, and conky explanation (1 and 2). I use a transparent overlay on the wallpaper (found here).

would you mind sharing your conky config files?

sorry if someone else asked this already

@Barghest and soupcan

Don't know why the icons don't show up as they are supposed to! I will look it up again and see if i find something. I did not do anything special to activate the icons though!

Anyway this is my current screen! Lunar Linux with EvilWM. Wallpaper is Wold Map Black from gnome-look. Gtk is Crazy Mothafucka. Icons are Sun Festa.

xfceo.th.png

XFCE4.6
tint2
stalonetray
conky
thunar
gmrun
urxvt

(Because xfrun and Terminal suck)

I think XFCE will keep me satisfied for a little while. I liked PekWM, but I quickly ran out of themes I like and it doesn't work with xcompmgr very well at all. Otherwise it's right up there with Openbox for me.
