Synapse: Pretty nice looking jabber client

It looks pretty nice, I don't currently have time for packaging it though... The source is in the contribute section of the site.

Re: Synapse: Pretty nice looking jabber client

One issue is that when I tried yesterday, I was unable to instal it as qt4-smoke, one of the dependencies, wouldn't compile.

Same here... Too bad because this software seems nice.

Seems like kdebindings package for 4.2.1 does not contains qyoto, while synapse requesting it.

An (outdated? Not sure) version of qyoto is in AUR.

As it noticed higher, qt4-qyoto in AUR depends on qt4-smoke. In my case (x86_64) qt4-smoke not compiles now.

Re: Synapse: Pretty nice looking jabber client

qyoto is now along with smoke a part of kdebindings, according to http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Languages/Qyoto

but kdebindings package in Arch does not contains smoke and qyoto, while, for example, in Ubuntu it does.

I created a bug. Sorry, if this is incorrect.

Re: Synapse: Pretty nice looking jabber client

I recompiled kdebindings from ABS with qyoto and smoke libs/includes, made pkg-config .pc files  and compiled Synapse. It starts, but when login sequence starting, it crashes instantly.
It seems like mono apps is not stable in my system at all, or Synapse snapshoot I used is bad.
