gourmet
I use the software gourmet on a debian-running computer and decided to install it on Arch. It installs properly however it doesn't run. I'm wondering if there are missing dependencies that aren't included in it based on this thread.
Does anyone have this software successfully running and remember what additionally they had to install?

Gourmet is a community package. Submit a bug report if it doesn't work.
If you want help, post the error messages or give more details. the thread you link is 2 years old.

Thanks snowman for the information. The link I included is still applicable however because the package itself is horribly out of date from April 2007.

You could try to update the package. I wouldn't be surprised if the errors are caused because it is so ou-of-date.
BTW, the AUR section of the bug tracker is for bugs in the AUR interface only. Community packages have their own section. I've fixed it.

I did try building the newest version from source and running that. It's the same (or very similar) error that I posted in the bug tracker. However, I would think that we'd want to try fixing the package with the newest stable version instead of a version that's outdated by 2 years.
