I was just wondering why Arch has not officially adopted Grub 2 yet as part of the base install?
I have it on good word that the current svn is very stable, and Jean-Phillipe Guillemin, the Zenwalk Linux lead Dev, is now seriously considering it for Zenwalks next release.
It always seemed to me that Arch liked to be out 'on the edge' so to speak, and thus using Grub 2 would be under serious consideration.

You can install GRUB2 yourself if you want.
Sure it might be stable, but it's still SVN.

I seem to remember that it doesn't work on all systems yet, and since grub(1) works with ext4 no one was in a hurry to make it the default.
