Mozilla Firefox: Long startup

It takes like 7 seconds for firefox/thunderbird to start up.. It only takes like 3 on winblows.. What might be the problem?

Re: Mozilla Firefox: Long startup

I've found that sometimes long startup times can be because your hostname isn't set right, so it's waiting for something to timeout.  Make sure /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts are good.
