VHS to DVD - Good Processing App?

I'm looking to convert some VHS's to DVD's, and I have capture all working. I have a nice Hauppauge capture card that gives me mpeg2 encoded video and I can capture to a file with no problems.
The problem is what to do with the video stream. Ideally, I would make a menu with chapters and whatnot instead of just putting the video on a disk, but is there a good application for linux that can automagically find chapters? I know such things exist for Windows, but I don't know if linux equivalents have been made yet.
Basically, is there anything that can simplify the process?

Try reading this. Haven't tried it, but it looks like it'll work.
