Share a folder to everyone through samba

Hi

I have a computer full of mp3 music in one folder that i want to share through my local network, so i can add it to the media library of songbird, which is running in my laptop.

I installed nautilus-shared, so i can share more graphically the folders i wish.

I installed it and added the line
include = /etc/samba/usershare.conf

As the prompt suggested me after performing the installation.
I created the group samba and i added myseñf to it.

When i want to share a folder i get the message:
Error 255: net usershare: usershares are currently disabled

And i cannot share anything with this method....

Does anyone know why?

Thanks!

Re: Share a folder to everyone through samba

You need to edit smb.conf  It can be found in /etc/samba/smb.conf

The wiki have information on this: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Samba
