[SOLVED]Mpd/Sonata Multimedia Keys

I have lost the ability to control MPD/Sonata with the mutlimedia keys on my laptop.
Last time I played some music was last week and it was working fine, had a couple of updates since then but I dont know where the error is.
Play/Pause, Stop, Back and Forward work as normal with Totem and MPlayer, I installed Rhythmbox too to see if they worked with that and they do.

I'm stumped
Andy

*I uninstalled MPD and Sonata and deleted the config files etc they create then reinstalled but no joy.

I do not know how you've configured them, but I linked the keys to the commands "sonata pp, sonata next, ..." in openbox 's rc.xml.

I didn't configure them myself, gnome does it for me.

Re: [SOLVED]Mpd/Sonata Multimedia Keys

The package responsible for hotkeys is dbus-python? Could it be that dbus was updated or smthing like that?
