gnome Dashboard

I don't know how stable/unstable this is, but it looks very cool.
bascily it's a extra window on your desktop that finds relative information about what your doing.

currently it handles evolution, gaim, gthumb, x-chat2 ,gtk input, straw , phonemgr and pan.

I don't know if it is a compile-switch for dashboard, but I know that teh latest versions use inotify to send a message if a file, ... is added or it's name is changed, ... It doesn't needs a spider to to temporarely run ...

What I was asking myself now, is ... does your version can/does use inotify ?

i was suggesting someone else make the packages tongue

ill give it a try, but anything I make will use inotify - i run 2.6.9-nitro2 so i have it tongue'

stock arch kernel aint gonna work for me - I use reiser4
