[DONE]Thunderbird: Enigmail

Since Enigmail is highly security related software, I'd like to have at least the possibility to compile it myself.
I've tried to make a package for the AUR myself, but it didn't even want to compile the ordinary way.
Following their instructions, it fails for me at the make of the 2. step in Compiling Enigmail with this error:

nsEnigModule.o: In function `NSGetModule':
nsEnigModule.cpp:(.text+0xf): undefined reference to `NS_NewGenericModule2(nsModuleInfo const*, nsIModule**)'

The first thing one would need is a patch at this point. Also I wonder if it is possible to compile without all the thunderbird source files, they are pretty big.

PS: I know there has already been a thread about this, but its pretty old and there's currently no package in the AUR.

Any luck with this?  I get the same errors as you when following their build instructions, and I'd really like to get Enigmail working.

Re: [DONE]Thunderbird: Enigmail

Their site says in the info of their x86_64 builds that they were built on Debian Lenny amd64 with gcc 4.2, so it could be a gcc 4.3 problem.

OTOH, this page here: http://www.iosart.com/firefox/xpcom/ in the comments mentions a similar error, and the fix is related to xulrunner and gecko and their versions, so I'd look into that.

Re: [DONE]Thunderbird: Enigmail

It's all solved now - Schnouki was so nice to provide a pkgbuild after I saw that he had posted a x86_64 build to the official enigmail page, which was build on archlinux and asked him for it. Thanks!
