[Solved] Arch web page Display Timings..

There are two laptops and both are running arch. Today I observed that the timing on the postings are different when arch site is opened in both laptop at the same time.In both laptop UTC time is set and are correct. (Time difference can be seen under  broch posing for eg). I did a restart of both computers even after setting the hwclock.

In one screen shot you're logged in and in the other you're not. When you're logged in, the time will go off of the whatever settings you have set up in your profile. When you're not logged in, the settings will be that of Arch's server.

Yes skottish, I have noticed that earlier. Just to know "is it normal for arch or other sites too?" I posted this. I will log in to other forums and come back.

My apologies if I didn't understand.

I checked over at doom9 which uses different software than Arch, and it has the same behavior.

Thanks. As I viewed the arch forum after a long time  without login I noticed the time difference and hence the post. wink . What you said is correct and this behaviour is same for all forums which I subscribed.
