When I try to switch tabs in lxterminal using the keyboard shortcut suggested in the menu (Ctrl-PgUp or Ctrl-PgDown), I just get a 5~ printed on the screen. I can't see any options in .config/lxterminal/lxterminal.conf or in the actual gui preferences or in the lxterminal man page that address anything about this. A wee-bit annoying since I like using multiple tabs!
Any ideas? Using lxde on Arch64.
Thanks, Scott

Mine works with Alt+1 (2, 3, 4 etc..)

Thanks!! That was driving me crazy....coming from gnome-terminal.
However, I think I just decided to switch to sakura as a lightweight terminal since it's got a much larger scrollback buffer, and I can't seem to make that bigger on lxterminal. Unless someone knows how???

Hey guys, I have the same problem. You should not mark this thread as solved! And I do not know how to deal with this.

Well, Alt - 1 (not F1), Alt - 2, etc. is how it works. If that doesn't work for you, perhaps you have a keyboard configuration problem? Do your alt keys work normally?

@cavesnow and to all people that don't have a QWERTY keyboard (relevant for AZERTY keyboards for example), the shortcuts are : Alt + Shift + 1, Alt + Shift + 2, Alt + Shift + ...
