Issues with GFTP

Hi, I installed gftp, and can connect to my server just fine, its when I copy a folder, it seems to copy the folder (without sub files etc) then when it goes to copy the files, it discconects me from the server.  Network problem, any useful suggestions???

Thanks

Re: Issues with GFTP

Some couple of years back I ran into problems (somewhat similar) with gftp if there were a large number of files involved.
I have completely stopped using it since - lftp (in _my_ eyes) is a lot better.

But then ... there is the lure of the gui ....

Also - could there be any permission problems on your target?

Re: Issues with GFTP

gftp has some bugs that you can live with.

I mostly use lftp, as perbh said, and as a graphical one, filezilla (its in community).

Re: Issues with GFTP

The issue was resolved when I rebooted / restarted my SFTP server.  Odd though.

Re: Issues with GFTP

I've had problems like these with gFTP, but now I switched to filezilla. Its really nice and fast.
