I have a HP Pavilion dv6000.
It has a set of multimedia capactive touch keys at the top as a row.
In that there is a XF86Mute key.
It is generally of blue color.
When the audio is muted it turns to red color.
I am currently using the key ID to mute the sound using amixer. But however this does not change the color of the key.
Is there anything I'm missing ?
Can someone tell me how to change the color of the key as well ?
Using xev this is the key's ID :
KeyRelease event, serial 35, synthetic NO, window 0x1a00001,
root 0x13b, subw 0x0, time 3193211, (51,481), root:(602,541),
state 0x0, keycode 121 (keysym 0x1008ff12, XF86AudioMute), same_screen YES,
XLookupString gives 0 bytes:
XFilterEvent returns: False
How I'm learning linux : If it ain't broken, fix it until it is. Then start over again.
