Evening fellow archers
I have an x64 ed of arch, on an AMD64, 2gigs of ram.
I've downloaded the free version of eagle - ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/eagle/program/5.4/ … -5.4.0.run
When I try to run it, the following error is given:
#:sudo ./eagle-lin-5.4.0.run
#:./eagle-lin-5.4.0.run: line 107: /tmp/eagle-setup.26114/eagle-5.4.0/bin/eagle: No such file or directory.
I've taken a sneekpeek @ the script, and @ line 107 we have:
"$TMPDIR/eagle-5.4.0/bin/eagle" --setup
I've also exported TMPDIR as a directory with chmod 777 and my own user ownership.
I've tried adding an extra argument - and the same error of no such file or dir does pop up while I try to start the binary.
I've got QT,WX and other dependencies installed. I may be missing something though, still I'd rather use eagle on arch than on windows 7.
cheers

Try installing it from AUR: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=15941 . This is how I installed it here.

I've read about how to install from aur and installed the package supplied by you. PROPS and thank you for your solution - works like a charm!
