just installed 0.7 beta 2 through FTP and i am getting alot of 'internal compiler error' error msgs when trying to compile stuff and the kernel panics if i persist.
i believe it might be a problem with the gcc package but i am not sure.
anyone else having similar issues?

seems it's not only happening during compiles.
just got another kernel panic while untarring a large file.
never had these problems in 0.6 or beta #1

Do you know if your current kernel has pre-emption enabled. If so that may be the cause of your kernel panics/seq faults. If it is the default kernel there may be a problem I am not sure if there are any generic kernels without pre-emption inabled?
I ran it this with both pre-emption enable and/or HPET enabled.

You may want to try boot with noapic and hpet=disable.

jus tried and still crashes.
i was running arch 0.6 with preemption and apic enabled for quite some time though with no problems.
looks like i'll just have to go back to that.

Go back to that and compile yourself a custom kernel without pre-emption and HPET. That will more that likely work.
