Banshee and the HTC G1 phone

Has anyone mananged to get the HTC G1 phone to sync music with Banshee? Banshee is supposed to support the G1, but it doesn't seem to work for me.

Re: Banshee and the HTC G1 phone

Seems to work while in Gnome, but not while in Openbox. Is there a service I can start to get it working in openbox?

Re: Banshee and the HTC G1 phone

How about running it from a terminal and seeing if it spits out some errors?

I do start gnome-keyring-daemon in my Openbox startup script, you might want to check if that solves it for you. It's very probably that banshee needs some gnome service you haven't running.

Funny, if I open up thunar and browse to the G1, it immediately appears in Banshee, what might thunar be doing to make Banshee recognize it?

Maybe thunar mounts G1 in some magical way big_smile
Try to run thunar from console and maybe some output will show.

Neither banshee nor thunar output anything. How strange.
