I think the wiki needs some advice on how to set up arch to be
- a full featured samba domain server
- a full featured windows domain client
I am currently working on a set up to fit my needs, and have some parts finished yet. I need to fix the part for arch replicating windows users from windows active directory, and hope I will complete this issue soon.
If someone will help with knowledge, advice ore debugging, you are welcome.

I haven't done anything as advanced as what you're attempting but a simple migration is documented here:
http://us4.samba.org/samba/docs/man/Sam … ation.html
Sorry if that's not much help, I've only used samba as a standalone member server so far - mostly just for extra file storage. Samba.org does have a lot of good documentation for free though. Also oreilly has a free samba book here:
http://www.oreilly.com/openbook/
It's kind of old though. Good luck!

Comparing my configurations with samba.org config hints, I see no difference ore complication in doing it for any arch linuxed machine. So, I drop this project, because I see no need for it.
