menu-cache-0.2.3-1 and LXDE menu issues

If I install menu-cache-0.2.3-1 my LXDE menu only displays: (underlines are to simulate spacers)
Run
Logout

instead of:
Accessories
Graphs
Internet
Office
Other
Programming
Sound & Video
System Tools
Wine
System
Run
Logout

Reverting to menu-cache-0.2.2-1 works just fine again.
